New video highlighting the importance of Chalk Streams

WWF have released a new video that highlights the importance of chalk streams. Due to our unique geology in the Southwest, many of our rivers run over chalk. As chalk is naturally porous, it acts as an aquifer, storing groundwater which then  feeds the overlying rivers an creates a unique stable environment in which species thrive. Chalk rivers are renowned for their biodiversity and are a vital part of our landscape.
